Gluten Free Products and Online Stores

When I feed my family Organic food, I also incorporate Gluten Free and Wheat free foods into my cooking. Sometimes we even go Dairy, Nut free, and Meat free. My family’s health is something that I use as an excuse to gain knowledge about where my food comes from and also how it’s made. I recently started looking into where our food is made and if there is a slight chance there could be cross contamination with the above. I am going to share with you some Products I use and places that I personally go to when it comes to Organic, Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free, Soy Free, Meat Free, and Vegetarian/Vegan. I also decided to include some websites as well so you can look into these products for more information.

Online Stores

Here are a few online sites that I personally use and still do.

www.happycow.net – my go to healthy eating guide when it comes to eating healthy on the go. What’s I just love about this website is you can go anywhere in the world and it will tell you where all the Vegan foods/restaurants are. Just scroll down to “Browse the World” and click on your part of the world. Pick your city and voila’, you have a list of healthy Vegan places to eat. It’s a great alternative to the greasy and unhealthy fast food chains that are out there. I just love this website.

http://www.organicprairie.com – For all of you Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Soy Free, Dairy Free, and Nut Free meat eaters, this site allows you to buy your meat in bulk. What I do is I get with 4 or more friends, we buy a few meats in bulk and then we split the cost of the order between us. It’s pretty easy and it’s my 2nd go to store for Grassfed meats.

www.earthcafetogo.com – When I want something sweet, this is my go to place. It’s not cheap, but it’s raw vegan! So that means it is gluten free, wheat free, etc. Best of all it’s soooo delicious. I am just in love with their cheesecakes.

http://www.grasslandbeef.com – Meat is naturally gluten free, which is one of the reasons why I truly love this site, but since my family doesn’t eat meat on a regular basis, the best way I have found to use this site is with a group of people. It can be quite an expensive buy if you are on a strict budget (I am definitely on a strict food budget) and there are great discounts if you buy in bulk. Also you not forced to spend a ridiculous amount of money just to feed yourself or family healthy food. If you can find a group of friends who would order with you, you can buy in bulk and spend less money with the discounts.
